Toby

This is Toby- a super sweet Shar-Pei. 

He is pretty sick with bone cancer, but he has survived the odds for a long time now, and he is still a happy and peaceful little guy.

Toby has a rock in the backyard that is family calls “Pride Rock” because he loves to stand there and look over his territory!

I think he has a really beautiful face- very intelligent and soulful.

He loves his treats- and have you ever fed a Shar-Pei a treat? It’s so funny because his mouth is really recessed behind his lips so it feels like you are reaching into a little slobbery cave when you feed him treats! Here he’s coming in for a peanut butter biscuit- his favorite 🙂

Besides Pride Rock, Toby really likes to sit on the porch and watch for cars, mailmen, and other dogs. He doesn’t do much when he sees something- his ears just perk up a little and his tail wags. He’s a good boy.
