Gabby and Foxy

First of all, for those of you who follow my blog…… I am sorry for the long period of silence!!

It’s that time of year…  craziness!!! I’ve been pumping out orders and shooting, shooting, shooting. So… the blog has fallen a bit ( OK.. more than a bit) behind.    But.. I hope you’ll find this entry worth the wait……

I have a special affinity for shelties. My first dog was a sheltie when I graduated from college and went out into the world on my own. I LOVED that nutty little dog!

So it was really so much fun to photograph Gabby and Foxy. Foxy is the smaller of the dogs.. she looks like… well… a fox. ( aren’t you glad I’m here to clue you in on these things 🙂

She is super shy.. as some shelties are… but she did gradually warm up to me and my big, scary camera. She actually ended up being quite the little model!

Gabby is more outgoing and she is really gorgeous. She reminds me of my sheltie, Derby, because they are almost the same size. BIG! I love her dark coat and her big brown eyes. What a lovely girl.
