Unfortunately, there are so many times I photograph dogs at the end of their lives. On one hand, I feel good about being able to help memorialize a beloved family member. But there’s no doubt that it is a session mixed with sadness. Ceasar was a wonderful and beautiful rottweiler. He had cancer during our session late last winter but still had some spunk and he thoroughly enjoyed himself. Unfortunately, he did pass away just before Derby. My heart goes out for his person, Julie. She loved him with all her might and she cared for him in every way she could- including putting carpet runners all over the house so he wouldn’t slip. Ceasar had a good life full of love and happiness. He will be missed.
