After the group shot for the KHS calendar (see last post), we took some photos of the individual dogs. It’s a really hilarious group because they are all SO different in personalities. Fun for me, because I could do some cool things with the shots since there was such a variation.
Bonnie has amazing, strong eyes. So- the best shots of her are the ones that show off her gorgeous face.
She’s lovely. But she has a really silly side. I tried to capture that in this next shot- while still honing in on her eyes.
The Lab’s name is Lilly. She is really sweet and she is a very lovely dog. I gave this photo sort of a grainy film feel- I like her relaxed pose.
This is just your happy lab shot. Labs are just plain cheerful, aren’t they? Truthfully, by the time we took Lilly’s individual shots she was beyond exhausted. She had a bit of trouble sitting still for the group shot and did a lot of running and jumping between takes! I think she’s just happy to be able to relax here.
And these are the pups… Cleo and Mac. Impossibly cute-right? I mean, what more do I say?
You can tell that Cleo is the more active one- she’s always alert and ready. Mac is super laid back and he is just sort of hangin’ with his sister in these shots.
All I know is that we had some REALLY tired dogs after this one! I’ll bet they had a great afternoon nap. Hmm… that sounds nice! The life of a dog. Not too shabby:)
