Wow- were the heck have I been? Taking a few weeks off. Whew!
I can safely say I’ve done very little but eat for the past two weeks. My son was out of school and I just wanted to spend some time with him- so we have just been relaxing, visiting friends, riding horses and watching basketball. And you know, I don’t have much to show for it in the way of photos.I did take this one of the two dogs in front of the tree.
Doesn’t my shepherd look joyful with that jingle bell? NOT. She hates anything that makes noise! She was seriously pathetic but I made her pose for just one picture:) Then I set her free!
My little dog actually loved the bells and kept running around in circles to make them ring more. ( at least that’s what I’m telling myself- I guess it’s entirely possible he was just going nuts!)
Oh- and can you tell it’s the year of the Cuisinart? I got a food processor and my son got a popcorn maker which is SUPER cool! (OK, I admit I got it for him and I’m the only one who has used it- but is that so wrong?)
I have a few fun new photography toys and I have been busy trying them out. The biggest one is a wacom tablet- which I know all my photographer friends are probably already using- but I’m a little behind the times on getting one! It’s basically a pen that you can use instead of a mouse when photo editing and it is much more precise. However, it is SO hard to get used to!! Ugh!! I was just trying to touch up a reflection in a girl’s glasses and I erased half of her eye. I’m thinking I need some practice on that one…
The other things I’ve been working on are some renovations to my website, my logo colors and my blog. Coming soon…….. 🙂
So a belated Happy New Year to you all- I’m looking forward to a fantastic 2009. Hurray!
